Subscription & Cancellation Terms

By purchasing the VU Author Expanded Listing, the subscriber agrees to the following:

1. Subscription Options
The VU Author Expanded Listing is available for $5 per month or $50 for 12 months, providing a $10 savings compared with 12 monthly payments.

2. Expanded Listing Benefits
While the subscription is active, participating authors may list up to five (5) books in the VU Virtual Bookstore and receive a paid listing on the Vendors Lane page of the Vendors University website. Additional promotional opportunities may be offered but are not guaranteed.

3. Cancellation
Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not immediately terminate the current paid subscription period.

For monthly subscribers, benefits will remain active through the end of the current paid monthly billing period.

For annual subscribers, benefits will remain active through the end of the applicable 12-month paid subscription term.

No prorated refund will be issued for unused time remaining in a paid subscription period unless otherwise required by law.

4. After the Paid Subscription Ends
Once the paid subscription period expires:

• The author's Vendors Lane paid listing will be removed.

• The author's VU Virtual Bookstore account/listing will revert to the Free Author Listing.

• Up to two (2) books may remain listed in the VU Virtual Bookstore at no charge.

• If more than two books were listed under the paid plan, the author may be asked to identify which two books they would like to keep active. If no selection is provided within the requested timeframe, Vendors University may select which two listings remain active.

• Any benefits exclusive to the Expanded Listing will end with the paid subscription period.

5. Renewals
Recurring subscriptions will renew according to the billing option selected at checkout unless canceled before the next renewal date.

6. Listing Standards
Vendors University reserves the right to decline, suspend, or remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, infringes intellectual property rights, contains materially misleading information, or otherwise violates applicable site policies. Subscription payment does not guarantee acceptance of content that violates these standards.

By purchasing the VU Author Expanded Listing, the subscriber acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to these subscription and cancellation terms.



 

Author Content & Sales Responsibility Policy

By submitting books, images, descriptions, links, or other materials for inclusion in the VU Virtual Bookstore, the author or submitting party agrees to the following:

1. Ownership & Authorization

The author confirms that they own, control, or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to submit and use the book titles, book covers, images, descriptions, author information, promotional materials, and other content provided to Vendors University.

The author agrees not to submit copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material that they do not have permission to use.

2. Permission to Display & Promote

The author grants Vendors University and the VU Virtual Bookstore permission to display the submitted book covers, titles, descriptions, author information, website links, purchase links, and related promotional materials for purposes of operating and promoting the VU Virtual Bookstore and its participating authors.

This permission does not transfer ownership of the author's intellectual property to Vendors University.

3. External Purchases

The VU Virtual Bookstore serves as a promotional and discovery platform. Unless specifically stated otherwise, Vendors University does not directly sell, process, fulfill, or ship the books displayed in the Virtual Bookstore.

Purchase buttons and links provided on the VU Virtual Bookstore may direct customers to an author's own website, online store, publisher, retailer, marketplace, or other third-party purchasing platform.

4. Customer Orders, Refunds & Disputes

Because purchases made through an author's submitted purchase link are completed outside of Vendors University, the author and/or the third-party seller processing the transaction is solely responsible for:

• Order processing and fulfillment

• Shipping and delivery

• Digital delivery, when applicable

• Returns and exchanges

• Refund requests

• Cancellations

• Customer service

• Product quality or condition issues

• Payment disputes or chargebacks

Vendors University, the VU Virtual Bookstore, and its operators are not the seller of record for transactions completed through external purchase links and are not responsible for issuing refunds, replacing products, resolving order disputes, or providing customer service for those transactions.

Customers should be directed to the author, retailer, publisher, or purchasing platform through which the transaction was completed for assistance with an order.

5. Accuracy of Information

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted prices, purchase links, website links, book descriptions, availability information, and other listing information are accurate and current.

Authors should notify Vendors University when submitted information changes or when a book is no longer available.

6. Author Acknowledgment

By submitting content to the VU Virtual Bookstore, the author acknowledges that they have read and agree to this Author Content & Sales Responsibility Policy, confirm that they have the necessary rights to the materials submitted, and understand that purchases completed through their external links are transactions between the customer and the applicable author, seller, retailer, publisher, or third-party platform.
